All-around handyman

Are you handy, practical, and do you enjoy working with your hands? At De FixMeister, you’ll take on a variety of jobs in and around homes. You’ll solve problems, keep homes tidy, and make residents happy whenever you visit.

What will you be doing?

Are you handy, practical, and do you enjoy working with your hands? As an all-around handyman at De FixMeister, you’ll tackle all kinds of small jobs in and around homes. From installing a microwave to resealing a bathroom, topping off a boiler, or tidying up a garden. No two weeks are the same, and residents are always happy to see you.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performing minor repairs and odd jobs in homes
Installing microwaves, replacing light bulbs, and refilling boilers
Tackle bathroom caulking and minor maintenance tasks
Occasional gardening work
Cleaning homes and preparing them for new residents
Conduct inspections and identify issues

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is a go-getter, can work independently, and isn’t afraid to tackle a variety of tasks. You don’t need to be an expert in everything, but you should be handy, reliable, and solution-oriented.

We ask that you:

You're handy and enjoy working with your hands
You have a practical mindset and contribute ideas to find solutions
You can work independently
You can handle stress and aren't afraid of getting your hands dirty
You are fluent in Dutch, English, or Polish (fluency in English is a plus)
You have a Class B driver's license
You are available on Saturdays by arrangement

What do we offer you?

A gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,000, depending on your skills and experience
A 40-hour workweek (occasionally working 4 days a week, subject to agreement)
24 days of vacation
